I have started giving Bluebell this, as Kim brought me some up, and she loooves it, so looks like im going to have to keep buying this! (Thanks Kim! haha) There are other brands which do bigger bags, which are classed as 'horse supplies' like Dodson and Horrell 'Just Grass' or 'Graze On'... these can be bought from places like Countrywide in bigger bags than Readigrass!

I read somewhere that this shouldn't be given all the time? What do you guys think? :D
justine - July 15, 2008 09:29 PM (GMT)
Hmmm I think I read somewhere that it had a high protein content or some thing. It might have been something else though, I can't remember exactly.
I know Ali feeds it in small hay balls every day but they also have meadow hay I think.

I feed it to the Hairy Mob as an occasional treat - not sure what the recommended intake is.

Lynx gets readigrass daily in a bowl, he looves it! he also gets timothy and meadow hay and eats that well too! :)
