Title: Chance has a poorly eye

Chancer has a runny . Been to the vet who checked his teeth and nothing. gave him an eye drop for it and nothing. I managed to bathe the other one and it cleared up but he did stress a bit. Any ideas plz.

Do you have eye drops to put in or did the vet do it as a one of in consult?

A vet cannot thoroughly check a rabbit's teeth unless the bun is under GA. What colour is the discharge from Chance's eye?

HE IS WHITE BUT THE FUR ROUND HIS EYE IS TINGED WITH OFFWHITE/YELLOW(VERY LIGHT). opps sorry for the caps lock

Peaches suffers with a runny eye from time to time, the vet prescribed drops and if the symptoms persist I've been threatened with a tear duct flush - ouchy ouchy.

Well he has been on newspaper for 5 days now and his eye seems to be clearing up but all the yellow matted fur round the eye is gonna have to come off :(
Somehow i dont think he is gonna be talking to me espcially after the snip last thursday as well :cry1:
Still the better news is i can introduce them properly in 3 weeks :thumbup: and they can be husbun and wife :kiss: @ last yay :happy:

yay - I wonder if dust is causing irritation to the eye. With Archie, he had a duct flush and as soon as I stopped using the shredded paper, sawdust and changed to dust free hay - his eye was clear.
