Description: We have LionHead Bunnies!
Rick & Nickiey - August 3, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Hello, :bounce:
Our Names are Rick and Nickiey :) and we are new to your Rabbit forum! We have been on many forums before because we have a zoo in our house and every animal that we have has it own forum hehe . So we have about 5 different forums that we are members of.
We have:
2 Dogs
2 Matting Cockatiels
3 Indoor bunnies
3 outdoor bunnies
1 30 gal. fish tank
and to top it all of 5 kids from 16 (who has 2 kids) and our youngest son is 2 1/2 years old :loopy:
We love our animals very much, but Nickiey just got a brand new baby :bunhug: a 8 week old black Lion Head Bunny and he's just a mommy’s little boy. We breed lion head bunnies and we needed a new male to go with one of the females that we have. I have a question we always get our bunnies when they are older never really had a baby that was Little other then the babies and a this age they are up for sale not our pets.
I just wanted to know what age Chester ( our 8 week old baby) should be before he can breed with our 3 year old Lion head female?
Thank You for having such a great forum

Hello and Welcome
:welcome:
I have searched the internet for info on breeding Lionheads but there isn't much info out there at all. (Presumably because they are a very new breed)
I know with Nethies it is said that the buck is good to breed from at 6 months. I waited til mine was 7 months just be sure.
Hope that is of some help.

I just have Nethies but I'm thinking about adding a Lionhead to my family of buns after seeing the gorgeous pics of Stewy!
And no, lol, the pink bunny isn't real! I just found a pic of a white bun on yahoo images and coloured her pink using photoshop!
haha
