Title: Smudges turn
justine - August 21, 2008 01:33 PM (GMT)
It's Smudges turn to be naughty today. She just came home with a dragonfly. It's still alive, but it can't fly. I've got it in a tub to see if a rest will help and I'll let it go later.

Vickie - August 21, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
I think I would have squished it hehe Did it survive?
justine - August 21, 2008 08:11 PM (GMT)
Yep, it survived. We let it have a rest then a little while ago, we let it fly away in the garden.

She is so gentle with animals etc most of the time. I saw her walking down the garden path with something sticking out of her mouth. I thought it was a mouses tail so I went out to stop her bringing it in and she placed it on the floor on the other side of the bunny barrior gate and was just watching it.

She probably didnt mean to hurt it then bless her, maybe she wanted to show you what she found

I think she did. She often brings things in, unharmed (mice and birds) and drops them by the side of me and lies down watching them.

PinkBunny - August 23, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
My cats (only have one now) have never brought anything home (except fleas :aaarggh: ) but that's probably cos they've always worn bells
justine - August 23, 2008 10:00 PM (GMT)
Ooooh thats a good idea. Maybe I'll try that. My persians can't wear a collar though because it matts their fur up. :(
PinkBunny - August 23, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
Really? Po is long haired but her collar doesn't cause any probs.
You could tie a bell to their tales!
hehe hehe
justine - August 23, 2008 10:26 PM (GMT)
haha Mind you, the persians don't catch anything. Persians are too slow and stoopid hehe
PinkBunny - August 23, 2008 10:28 PM (GMT)
awww, they're beautiful though, that makes up for being slow! lol
haha
