http://www.dogs4us.com/puppysales.asp

read about this place on a dog forum i go on.

I did a bit of nosing and found out that the pups are bought from the breeders via an agent – the staff at the store have no contact with the breeders, although the breeders are fully aware of where the puppies are going. There is no record of whether the parents have been hip scored, had eye tests etc just a 3 generation pedigree produced by the Dog Lovers Registration Club. The breeder’s name but not address was on this. The store makes no checks on puppy buyers and anyone can simply hand over their money and walk off with a puppy.

These aren’t cheap puppies, the Labs start from £460 – a high price to pay for taking pot luck.

Apparently the puppies are in fairly small boxes too.

How heartbreaking.

just wondering what dog forum do you go on?
