Title: vibes for jack please!

topcat - September 16, 2008 06:16 PM (GMT)
Jack is poorly :(

Suspected Kennel cough.

Vet gave him 2 injections tonight and we have to see if he improves over next 24 hours.

Cant think of any dogs he has been round that has KC, although his "girlfriend" did just have her yearly booster.

The "snotty nose" is only out of one nostril though so the vet thinks maybe he has something lodged up there so if he doesnt improve, he will need an anasetic to see if something is making him cough and sneeze.

He is sleeping at the moment, no coughing since he got back from vets, fingers crossed.

Awwww poor Jack. How long does it normally take to clear up after starting treatment?

Kim - September 18, 2008 12:53 PM (GMT)
I think it can potentially take a couple of weeks but i may be wrong, sarah may have a better idea than me :)

Awwww poor Jack. I'm sure he'll get hours and hours of catch up time out once he's better.
