Home wanted: Bessie was left with us as a stray so her age is estimated to be somewhere between 12 - 24months. She was also very overweight at 4.35kg and she had to have some fairly intense operations; but now she is looking for a home where she will be spoilt rotten with love and exercise! She is still on a strict diet as, although she has lost a significant amount of weight (she is now 3.8kg) she needs to lose another 0.5kg to be healthy. She didn't like her hay when she arrived but now she happily chomps away and is looking for a home where she can have fun running around and playing with another bun and get lots of exercise and get involved with everything going on around her. She would be happy as an indoor or outdoor bun but please note that, alongside her excess weight, she is a big bun so does need plenty of space.

Bessie had plastic surgery on her dewlap to reduce the risk of suffocation whilst sleeping :shock: :shock:

Around 3 weeks ago. She's such a friendly girlie. I hope she doesn't have to wait too long for a forever home.

Yeah!! She's already had the big dewlap removed bless her hence the signs of scar tissue under her neck. She just needs lots of love and exercise now!
