I dont know what to put on the floor of his hutch when i bring him home, normally i would use newspaper but he eats it! I also need him to be warm, he will have a snugglesafe heatpad anyway but he needs something else too, i was wondering about vetbed turned upside down so he doesnt chew the fluffy bits or buying a blanket??

The vet suggested a primapore dressing over his wound but he is worried he may eat that too! doh

Could you perhaps keep Lynx inside for the first night Kim? Perhaps put an old sheet in a corner with his litter tray/toys/food bowl etc. Perhaps you could use a large cardboard box as a base may be.

I would, only thing is he isnt keen on being inside and im thinking its better for him to be where he is happier and i will have to somehow find a way to keep him warm?

What about on of those infra-red heat lamps that are usually used for puppies, kittens or ducklings? You hang them up, that way he can move away from it if he's too warm.

I am going to move his hutch into the summerhouse which has recently been insulated (dad thought it would be nice for Lynx to be able to run around in the warm throughout the winter! :) ) He will also have a snugglesafe and i think i may put a thick blanket in with him too, what do you think?

Sounds like a good idea to me, any room for me? He will be as warm as toast! hehe
