Title: Old Age
rabbitnurse - November 16, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Hello everyone,
I was wondering if you could tell me how old your bunnies are?
I'm a veterinary nurse and currently have 10 rabbits, all rescue.
I have a little old man (netherland dwarf) who has been in my care now for 4 years and he is over 10!!
The cold weather affects him so he plays out with his two other friends during the day and sleeps in the dog bed, in the kitchen at night!!!
Look forward to hearing from any old bunnies, how you cope with the cold and wet weather
:bunhug:

My two bunnies ages are the 'baby' is 6 months and one week and the 'elder' is either two and a half or three and a half. ( I am not sure as we took her in as she was on the way to the vet to be put to sleep ) My previous house bun was 5 when he went to bunny heaven.

Jimmy is 8 months old and Rosie - well that's open to question. She is either 4 in March or 3 in March. I would guess that she is 4 in March ( We've only had her since August as she was on a one way trip to the vet for the big sleep!) She doesn't like the cold either - she has free run of house and garden, but she doesn't like going out in the cold! My word you have your hands full with all yours!
