Yesterday Chloe and I made the decision to let Wonky go. Wonky was one of the Von Trapp babies who I have been fostering for Fat Fluffs. He was born with "clown feet" and until recently managed to move around sufficiently which gave him a quality of life. The vet was of the opinion that the knee joint hadn't fused.
I decided to bring him inside 4 weeks ago as he was getting himself tied up in knots with the hay. He was the perfect bun to have around and didn't mind having his bum bathed twice a day.
Sadly his movement deteriorated and this reflected in his personality - he was no longer the mischievious bunny he once was and spent most of the day sitting on the hearth.
Sleep tight little man. Life will not quite be the same without The Wonkster.
