Hmmm thats hard for me to answer. My two have a bottle in their house and they have a big bowl outside the house for when they are out playing. I can't put the bowl in the house because they keep knocking it over. When it rains the bwol gets filled with rainwater so I can't really tell how much they drink. It can't be really excessively because the water in their bottle would last for ages if I didn't change it.

I have foiund my girls - Flopsy and Fudge drink loads, Frosty hardly drinks any, Funky drinks a fair bit, the other 3 boys don't drink much either. The are all different.

My two go through 3/4 of a big bottle probably every 3/4 days
But just to make things difficult they also have a CatIt water fountain which they drink from in the day (or wash their ears in!) so its hard to tell for sure who has what!

I went through a phase of worrying about them drinking water (esp my dwarves) so now I just leave all their greens really wet when I wash and feed them hoping they'll get it that way

Thlayli is like that Kim...
for a period of time he will empty his ceramic bowl 2 or 3 times in a day and other times he seems to just take a couple of cm off of the top. It doesn't seem to correlate with the food he's consumed that day either.
Funny bunnies :)

That's odd, I was going to post something about drinking as well! Since the cold spell when I was having to change bottles once or maybe twice a day cos they froze, none of the outside bunnies are drinking as much as they used to, the ones in the shed are the same as always, I've checked all the nozzles are fine, which they are and even given some of them new bottles, but they aren't drinking much at all not even one cm of a 600ml bottle a day! Perhaps they didn't like the cold water on their mouths? They get greens twice a day so I'm not too worried, it's just weird!

Great minds think alike!! :) I used to change his water bottle once a day despite how much he had drunk and since i dont do that he seems to be drinking it more, maybe it was too clean for him before haha

I'm guessing that buns don't need so much water in the cold weather as they do when it's warm. They are also not as active so I spose thier bodies dont use much, who knows? hehe

Well the bowls that they have hold a large glass full of water ( it's difficult to estimate really - not a pint glass, I would estimate 1/2 pint glass) and I top it up some days twice or possibly 4 times!) It depends in part on the weather, how long they have gone galavanting outside eating grass and also how much hay they have munched inside.
