I've never had to clip Lottie's nails, I suppose they wear down naturally.

I have clipped Lara's recently though because she kept pulling the carpet. But as she is still a pup I used my bunny ones hehe

I find I've never had to do Paddy's although the "dial a dog wash" lady takes the edge off his dew claws when he has his bath.

ah thanks guys!.

Jack is just so excited about having his nails done I am nervous to do it in case the cutters slip!.

The vet was suppose to do it when he was under GA having his boy op, but somehow they didnt get done :angry1:

Last week the vet said they looked fine but I dont think they do having looked at other doggie photos.

We have a little petshop up the road where the owner is very good and has many years experience of clipping nails for all animals, he charges £3 so he is much cheaper than the vet. Maybe your local petshop does it too?

Phone your vet and ask how much it would cost for the nurse to do it. Thats what I did with our hammy. That was £3.16.

the vet has done them before but as Jack is so very excited and wriggles about I think they said they were ok last week, just so they didnt have to do them :( .

Thinking of changing to a different vet or going to a doggie parlour!.

I don't have a dog, however my sister has two. She does not have call to clip their nails, but why not call your local dog grooming place - they will do them I would think. Our neighbour had an aged dog and she took her to the vet. I am sorry that I can't give a specific answer. x x
