Title: How do I do this?
PinkBunny - February 22, 2009 09:34 PM (GMT)
I have booked Flip in for neutering on Tuesday, I'm not so worried this time after Fonzie was deplummed and everything went so well.
But, what would you all advise on the neutering and bonding of Fudge and Flopsy too? I'm planning to get them done next month.
Should I book Flopsy and Fudge in at the same time and take them together in one carrier or in separate ones?
How long after neutering should I wait til I atttempt to bond them with Fonzie?
And... Should I bond Fonzie first and Flip afterwards or all together?
It's all very confusing

Personally, I would bond them together.
There is no harm in booking Flopsy and Fudge in at the same time/same carrier, etc.
I would wait around 6 weeks before attempting to bond just to ensure all hormones have calmed down and stopped clanging.

I'm all confused Shelley, there's too many F's!
if they live together then book them in together & take them in the same carrier

Lol, sorry Sarah. hehe hehe
At the mo the two girls live together but not yet neutered
The two boys live on their own, only Fonzie is neutered (5 weeks ago)
Flip will be done on Tuesday so I know I have to wait 6 weeks to introduce him to the girls but how long do I have to wait after having the girls done til I introduce them to another bun?
get it? hehe hehe hehe

I'd wait until the boys are firing blanks and bond together. It will be easier to bond one group as they can sort out who is going to be the gaffer from the word go. If you bond in stages, you'll go through the motions again each time.
