Sounds like Paddy hehe hehe He follows the buns round the garden hoping they will drop a piece, as soon as a piece is dropped, he helps himself hehe hehe

My two are like that- its the only thing i feed them apart, they eat it so fast im scared one of them will choke! :aaarggh: .
We had Elvis for 6yrs and he never ate a single piece of carrot, trimmed, grated, sliced, pealed- he hated them  . Mind you he was the biggest tinker ive ever known!.

Bunny is a huge carrot fan... :bunjig: gave him his first bit of broccoli last night. He seemed a bit unsure to begin with but think he liked it. I'll give it a couple of weeks then introduce something else to him. Any suggestions??

Celery, parsnip, cauli, pok choi, spinach. Have you tried sprouts? My lot will do anything for a sprout hehe
LauraBunny - March 11, 2009 09:33 AM (GMT)
We always have spinach in the house so think that may be next! Random question but do bunnys get gas?? sure I heard a couple of little pops when Bunny was sat on my knee last night! Maybe the broccoli didn't agree with him...

Yes buns do get gas. Give his tum a rub and it will disperse any trapped gas. Buns can suffer from gut statis, there is information on the forum about it in the Rabbit Care section.

Thanks for the info Vickie, Bunny was fine last night. Gave his tum a rub just in case, however I think he just loved having his tummy rubbed, he can't get enough attention!
