Title: The truth about boys

so it seems the location of the male brain has been proven. Bunny seems to have forgotten all his litter training and decided to wee in 2 other corners where his litter tray is not. Funny how this happened after his brain was removed hehe hehe

Sounds about right hehe hehe

Crikey....So it continues...still no joy with the re-training. Keeping at it though. Think because he picked it so fast when I first brought him home I thought he would learn again quickly. (though seriously wondering why he has forgotten...) As he had picked another corner to use I moved his tray there, but he seems to have some kind of issue with it as he budges it across the hutch along with all the woodshavings from that side so he is weeing straight onto the hutch floor  Little Monkey! I am sorting it out every morning and evening so hopefully it shouldn't go on too much longer. This is starting to resemble an essay so will stop waffling! :laugh1:

He's a little tinker but a cute one hehe

I have a neutered foster bun with me, she's been returned to rescue due to being a mardy moo. When she left, she was litter trained, since returning, she goes to huge lengths to move the litter tray and piddle in the corner

What odd behaviour our buns have!! hehe

Flopsy uses her tray most of the time but occasionally she will throw it across the hutch and then wee and poop on the floor. Baffling

But her hutch floor is lined with vinyl kitchen lino stuff so atleast I can take that out and clean it properly.

By the way, did you know vinegar gets rid of the white chalky stuff that their urine makes? Great for plastic floors or indoor hutches.

First of all, i love the use of the word piddle. Always makes me laugh (mainly from a rude nursery rhyme my grandad used to recite to use when we were little) hehe I used vinegar in my bedroom (the clear stuff...) after a bunny accident though for some reason I was expecting it to not have a vinegar-y smell (sometimes I should be blonde....) but it did and I was so confused for a bit!! I think I might get a lino off cut to line the bottom. Though he's a bit of a chewer so will it be ok?? :)

A little lino chewing doesn't do the buns any harm. Chloe part lined the barn with lino where the foster buns live, they managed to destruct her good work in under half the time it took her to lay it

I have 3 girls and 1 boy (at the moment....hoping to add another boy soon ;) ) and someone keeps piddling on the floor of the shed :faint:

We have often suspected Freddy our boy bunny but never had any actual proof. However the other day OH was in the shed and turned around to catch Freddy sitting on the floor and a big piddle started to spread from underneath him

So now we definitely know the culprit but he is way too cute and loveable to be angry with him. He is henpecked by the girls so I don't have the heart to scold him for piddling on the floor. Guess it's his own way of getting his own back

My lino just covers the floor right up to the edges, so once the shavings are over it the buns don't really notice it's there. The funny thing is when they chase eachother they slip and slide everywhere haha haha
