pellets do you give your rabbit each day?

I feed 1 handful per bun. Talking to the vet on Monday and he said buns should be fed a couple of handfuls per week :shock: Makes sense as it encourages them to forage more for hay.

Lynx gets quater of a yoghurt pot twice a day which is a about a handful a day, i did wonder whether to reduce it to once a day and see how he goes :)

I've reduced it to half a handful per bunny. If they have rumbly tumblies, there's a mountain of hay for them to chomp. Talking of which, I put loads of hay in the shed, they eat around half but wee and poop over the other half which is rather wasteful :head:

Rosie and Jimmy have a handful in two bowls. But the vet has said that rosie still has to loose some weight so i am cutting it down as the idea is for her to start eating more hay and grass.

Ermmm my four have a normal sized mugful between them morning and night.
It sounds like that is still too much but its hard to know who to believe sometimes.
The manufacturers amounts are sky high in comparison!!

Rebecca at Pet Vacc Clininc Coventry told me one egg cup full per Nethie bunny per day. So does that mean more for larger buns?
