Hi my 2 boys have just had the snip 3 days ago and all went well. Only thing is i tried them together outside today and they still fight quite bad. Sharkey has already had to have stitches due to wotsee attacking him! What can i do aswell as seperate them to get them to "like" each other?? lol. How long does it normally take for them to start calming down after being neutered?
HELP!

It takes around 6 weeks for them to no longer be fertile so they are likely to still have all the male hormones til then. You could put thier hutches together so they can see eachother and get used to each other's presence until then.

Vickie is the best person to ask about bonding bunnies, I believe she recommends using a cat carrier in the car, that seems to calm them down. But there's no guarantee that bucks will live together anyway.

good luck

As Shelley said, it can take around 6 weeks for the hormones to stop clanging. Bonding 2 bucks isn't always an easy task, that said, it can be done.

If you can get the buns into one carrier and take them for a drive, I find this is a good starting point. Once home, put them in a neutral reduced space. Do you have an indoor crate or indoor cage you can use for the first few days? I find less space = less chasing, etc.
