Pixie has it :angry1: Her eye and nose was full of gunk on Sunday, no better yesterday so off we toddled to the vet. She's on a 14 day course of Baytril and if the gunk has cleared up, she'll be on Septarin.

Hi Vickie How is Pixie? I hope she is ok and eating again. Do you think it might be the baytril, only baby jimmy has had to have her dose increased and she is very quiet and eating - but not with relish.

I'm unsure Jill to be honest. The amount of baytril prescribed is in accordance with her weight. Bluebell is on a higher dose compared to Pixie as she's a bigger girl.

I open up filled with dread each morning :( Still loads of snot and gunk around Pixie's nose, the one nostril is always glued with gunk each morning. She hasn't been mouth breathing today and has taken pellets if I feed them to her, not been interested in her veg today :(

Her little face when I'm cleaning her up is heartbreaking.

I am really sorry Vickie, she is like how rosie was , it's awful isnt it. I asked about the baytril as I started giving it to her before I took her to the vet, ( jimmy not rosie) but i was giving her too little 0.4 and it should have been 0.8 twice daily.

With Pixie being poorly and Rosie being poorly last week, as you know I had to take her to the vet in the end as they kept her in, and now Jimmy poorly - I just wondered if it was to do with the baytril.

I hope the baytril kicks in soon and she is back to being a happy bunny very, very soon. x x :hug: :bunhug: :bunhug:
