Title: Pretty Rosie and stasis.

bunny mummy - May 8, 2009 08:39 PM (GMT)
My pretty rosie is at the vets overnight stay this time . I had to take her this morning as she was none too bright by any means, she was not eating and she was shaking/shivering around her shoulder blades.

Last night she twisted funny when she was jumping out of a pot in the garden as as she has a bad back the vet said she was shaking as she was in pain. I was absolutely gutted at the thought of her being in pain all night.

Anyway, I had to take her back this evening and she has been kept.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rosie - she's in the best place. What have they done for her today?

Don't blame yourself - bunnies are prey animals and are dam good at hiding illness

Rosie came home today and she is eating again , so thats good, she was there from friday evening when I took her back until today. They gave her gut stimulants, pain relief and re hydration stuff !! I went to visit her yesterday for a couple of hours and hoped that would help .. well she is happy and eating again . BUT SHE IS BITING JIMMY AND I CANT PUT THEM ' TO BED' as Jimmy is terrified! What do I do????
