A number of our members have contacted us wishing to raise awareness about rabbit farming in the UK and EU. This falls out of our remit as a charity because under our remit as a charity, because under our charities commission registration our aim is to educate people to improve the welfare of pet rabbits, but it would be remiss not to pass this information on to those who wish to see it.

The animal welfare charity four paws is campaigning against the factory farming of rabbits, and their website can be accessed by typing "four paws rabbits" into google. There is some distressing content on there as you might expect.

If you feel strongly about this issue, then one course of action is to write to your MP. If Members of Parliament receive enough letters on an issue they are duty bound to raise it in the House of Parliament.
