Title: emergency vet

bunny mummy - June 19, 2009 10:16 PM (GMT)
I had to take poor baby Jimmy to the emergency vet clinic tonight, as she was having her injection, she moved just as the injection was being given.. when she got down she couldn't use her left front leg and was holding it up :cry1:

Anyway, the vet gave her an injection ( anti inflammatory) and said that she had pulled a muscle or trapped a nerve in her shoulder. Poor little mite, she seems ok now, but will have to take her to my vet tomorrow if she not fully fit.

These out of hours vets are very expensive aren't they!

She is fine now, I gave her 5 drops of metacam yesterday - just to be on the safe side, but she was her usual cheeky little self yesterday and is now 100% ( expect for the snuffles!) but even that is a lot better. :bounce:

Phew, glad Jimmy is ok. These buns are such a worry.

They are indeed! I am glad that she is ok obviously, but my poor old mum was mortified!! She ended up stopping the night in the spare room - bless her! ( she even paid for the vets - very glad in one respect as the consultation fee alone was well over a hundred quid!!!! They know how to charge don't they!!!!
