Has been snuffly yet again :( but still no nasal discharge etc so i spoke to rabbit specialist at Langford today who thinks this is possibly an infection but not convinced is pasturella as no clinical signs etc but thinks could be an allergy so i have to give Lynx 2ml baytril once a day until signs disappear and then carry on for 2 weeks and i have to start him in piriton half a tablet once a day for 2 weeks and if no better the vet at work is going to refer him to the vet at langford for further investigation :) I am so glad i insure my rabbits with petplan!! :thumbup:

Lynx just ate the piriton in his pellets, he is such a good boy :wub:

I think they are doing something because he has improved but i cant help ut think he may be being under dosed because im sure langford said it would out at something like 5mls twice daily (i may have mis heared)but he is getting 1.25mls twice daily, he has good and bad days, i managed to get sample from his nose today so will send that off and then maybe take him to langford for further tests at their rabbit referral clinic :( my poor little man :(

He was being underdosed, he needs 2ml twice daily so hopefully this will help! :)
